Dockyard at the East Harbor

Initial situation

In the Dockyard development area at the East Harbor, digital geotechnics is becoming the key to greater efficiency: The direct connection of the GeoTrace® measurement chain creates a monitoring system that seamlessly integrates energy data from the subsurface into building automation. This combination of sensors and controls opens up new possibilities for the precise monitoring and optimization of thermal processes in the ground.

For modern energy concepts such as geothermal and ice storage solutions, knowledge of the processes occurring beneath the surface is crucial. While existing systems capture relevant measurements, they often remain isolated from active energy management. Therefore, a solution was needed that makes subsurface data available in real time and integrates it directly into control processes – for a holistically controlled, adaptable energy infrastructure.
